With the Ryeland 'bug' firmly running through the veins ,have purchased 3 ewes from the Winkhill flock to put to Nightspeed . 3 ewes that are full of Ryeland character ,great in the wool, great heads and confirmation where it counts.
One of the ewes is for my godson Evan that managed to show a Ryeland for me at Stafford show at the age of 3 . A young shepherd in the making ..

Show Preparation
Over the years have show prepared quite a few breeds , Suffolks ,Charollais ,Blue Texels to name a few . Feel quite satisfied to see them when finished .. Pictured is Nightspeed before washing on the trimming stand .
Carding and trimming follows and the finished look leaves something to be proud of .

Show Season Over
The Show season is now over with 3 shows attended . We have had a fantastic time at Stafford ,Burwarton and Ashbourne .
Our Shearling Ram Arberth Nightspeed was the star attraction and was crowned breed champion at Stafford County and Ashbourne . Going onto become Reserve Interbreed at both shows .
Planning next years ventures a little bit further a field with the 3 Counties on the Agenda.
